SPC800 Device

		The 8-port SPC800 power control devices from Avocent provides you with a field-proven method to securely monitor and manage power to your business-critical servers and other data center network devices.

• The SPC power control device provides enhanced security options, including password protection, access rights and port groupings.
• The CPS serial over IP solution adds authentication and multiple levels of data encryption for advanced user security.

The DSView® 3 management software interface lets you easily associate server names with actual power outlet ports on the SPC power control device. DSView 3 software also allows grouping of dual-server power supplies as well as separating the power supplies on different power sources. This gives you true redundancy and control of dual-powered servers.
