The 8-port one digital path Avocent® DSR®1031 KVM switch gives administrators virtual media capability through Avocent DSView® 3 management software to remotely load software onto target devices in branch locations. The DSR1031 also offers BIOS-level control of all connected servers and serial-based devices. Other user benefits include a USB port for easy access to network devices; the ability to remotely power cycle connected devices; external modem support when the network is down; USB and PS/2 connections; and high-resolution video with the Dambrackas Video Compression™ algorithm.
DSView 3 management software and a USB 2.0 module required for virtual media. Each sold separately.
